A heart-warming and uplifting comedy-drama.  A shepherd without a flock, Pastor Luke struggles to attract a single congregant to his church.  Moving to the city, he stumbles across feisty musician Kate, and her brother, debt-ridden nightclub owner, Simon.

Simon sees Luke as a way to repay his debts and tricks him into starting  a church in the club.  With some assistance from Kate, the church begins to flourish. The Holy Roller provides satirical commentary on the commercialization of Evangelical Christianity, the pitfalls of organized religion, and the relevance of faith in today’s society.
